Cinémaya , Free Visions from the heart of Damascus

Founded in 2013 by Syrian filmmaker Maya Mounayer, Cinémaya for Artistic Production is an independent film and television production company based in Damascus. From the start, Cinémaya has chosen to support independent artistic creativity within the Syrian cinematic scene. It began by offering production and artistic consultancy services to local independent filmmakers and later evolved into a production house delivering a wide range of audiovisual works—especially documentaries and video art.

Cinémaya aims to present high-quality, artistically driven cinematic works that explore human and cultural issues and introduce new perspectives from Syria and the Middle East.
